Seafood Gumbo
Seafood Gumbo. Ben Thibodeaux, chef de cuisine of Dickie Brennan's Tableau in Le Petit. Seafood gumbo, packed with shrimp, oysters, red snapper, and, especially Louisiana blue crab, is a classic South Louisiana dish.
My favorite seafood gumbo recipe with loads of shrimp, white fish, crab and oysters, all with plenty of Cajun seasonings.

As is the case with most gumbos, this dish is best prepared either early in the day it is to be served, or even the day before. Seafood Gumbo is a staple in the Cajun and Creole Cultures. Seafood gumbo partly because I can get it less often.
